Who are we?

We’re just a couple of engineers in a family who loves boating and being on the water. From lakes to rivers to oceans, we’ve played in them all, and experienced all sorts of frustrations with little boats that even the most salty of seamen can relate to:

• Trying to dock the boat and sliding in a flat bottom
• Getting pushed by the wind, and needing to approach again because your boat doesn’t maneuver well
• Flooding an outboard that’s sat for too long 
• Yanking the pull cord to start your dinghy and trying to avoid hitting someone in the process
• Squeezing in and shuffling people around to make sure your captain can steer from the correct spot
• Rowing or paddling to keep your position so you don’t make a ton of noise by firing up the motor
• Wishing you could kick back and relax instead needing both hands for steering and gears

Our goal is to minimize some of these frustrations in recreational boating by simplifying the process, and making it even more fun!
